A message is going viral in the social media calling on all Yellow Shirts to move on to KLCC.
The message claimed that Bersih 5 command centre had identified KLCC as the new gathering point.
It claimed that the police had denied the protesters the right to gather in the vicinity of Dataran Merdeka.
It claimed that the police had also blocked the Bangsar Yellow Shirt group from joining their counterparts in Masjid Negara.
“Bersih CC urges all to start moving to KLCC in an orderly manner and for others to make their own way there. The programme will be held there until 6pm before we disperse. Please share this. You can confirm this message at Bersih 2.0 Official Facebook page or on Prime. Crowd is moving towards KLCC through Bukit Bintang and Pavilion. Police didn’t expect this,” stated the message.
MO team reported that thousands of Yellow Shirts were walking through the city roads towards KLCC where they were expected to have their finale.
Red Shirts have virtually dispersed from the area.
Although they were smaller in numbers, their presence has somehow neutralised whatever objectives the Yellow Shirts wanted to achieve through the unwarranted Bersih 5 rally.
