PAS vice-president Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah has told wayward party colleague Mahfuz Omar to leave the Islamist party.

Finally someone from PAS has told off the errant Pokok Sena MP Mahfuz Omar to behave himself, or quit the party.

PAS vice-president Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah has reminded Mahfuz to stop badmouthing his own party, or else leave PAS to continue his political career elsewhere.

“It is Mahfuz who should leave PAS. It is better for him to quit instead of being neither here nor there.

“He is a PAS member but attacks and criticises the party. It is better for him to leave the party. Why stay on in PAS?” Amar was quoted saying by NST.

Amar, the Kelantan deputy menteri besar, was responding to recent reports of Mahfuz telling off the PAS leadership for its refusal to co-operate with DAP and Amanah.

Mahfuz has been seen regularly at events held by the other parties that PAS was at odds with.

He has also issued statements contradicting his own party stance on certain subject matters.
