Umno Youth exco leader Armand Azha Abu Hanifah will lodge a police report against two individuals purportedly funding a campaign to topple Prime Minister Najib Razak tomorrow morning at Dang Wangi district police station.
In a media invitation circulated via whatsapp states that Armand alleged Robin Tan (Vincent Tan’s son) and Tooi Kooi Ong (YTL proxy) funding a movement to oust Prime Minister Najib.
The media invitation has called all the press members to do a coverage.
It was earlier reported in Malaysiakini that Armand has all the relevant documents in relations to the funding movement and will hand over to the police for thorough investigation.
In July, Umno Youth vice-chief Khairul Azwan Harun filed a police report against former Bank Negara governor Zeti Aktar Aziz, ex-attorney-general Abdul Gani Patail and former Malaysian Anti-Corruption (MACC) commissioner Abu Kassim Mohamed.
He accused the Tan Sris of furnishing classified information to foreign agencies, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation, without authorisation.
Khairul also alleged that the three could have falsified the information to achieve their agenda.
However, inspector-general of police Khalid Abu Bakar did not further investigate the case stating the report was based on assumptions.
