The Royale Bintang Hotel Penang’s recent win of a ‘TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Award for 2016’ has spurned the hotel to continue to win the hearts of her patrons.
The award celebrates excellence in hospitality and is awarded to establishments that have earned great traveller reviews consistently on TripAdvisor over the past year.
Certificate of Excellence recipients include accommodations, eateries and attraction located all over the world that have continually delivered a quality customer experience.
Royale Bintang Hotel general manager Philip Theseira said that the win was a vote of confidence to the hotel’s continued commitment to provide the best services to their guests.
“The entire team at Royale Bintang Penang celebrates and takes pride in winning the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence.
“We look forward to welcoming more guests with our warm Malaysian hospitality and to highlight the beautiful and historical hotel,” he added.
The hotel recently introduced ‘The Royale Ball’ for dance enthusiasts to enjoy an extravagant event in a ballroom with a live band in attendance.
The formal dance party had a participation of over 200 guests in evening wear and dance outfits enjoying an evening of dining, fun and entertainment for the guest to relive the golden era with popular classic dances.
“This gathering of dance aficionados is planned as a quarterly event to provide dancing experience with the best music and good ambience,” said Theseira, who danced with his 95-year-old mother Florence.
Members and students of local Danz Club showed off some polished moves in popular dances like the smooth Waltz, Tango and Foxtrot, and the rhythmic Latin dances such as Cha Cha, Rumba, Mambo and Samba.
For guests who enjoyed a little bit of social dancing, many were seen to shake, rattle and roll and or just swaying to the lively music.
There were lucky draws for games, prizes for best dressed couples and an enjoyable evening for all.
