Terengganu Menteri Besar (MB) Ahmad Razif Abd Rahman has been advised by doctors to observe a few days of rest.
This came after the MB suffered a fainting spell at the Bukit Kiara Equestrian and Country Resort, in Kuala Lumpur this morning, as reported by The Star.
Astro Awani reported that the MB had fallen off a horse during a training session.
Ahmad Razif’s special officer Ahmad Fauzan Abdul Kadir shared on Facebook that the MB was in good condition and that nothing serious had happened.
In an update on his own Facebook page, Ahmad Razif thanked those who prayed for his well-being.
“Alhamdulillah I only suffered minor injuries and currently undergoing a physiotherapy session.
“The doctor has advised me to rest for a few days. I hope I can get back to work as soon as possible, Insya Allah,” he said.
Meanwhile, the MB’s office in an official statement informed that all programmes involving the MB would be postponed to a later date.
