Sunway Hotels & Resorts is slated to reopen its 4.5-star Sunway Pyramid Hotel, formerly known as Sunway Pyramid Hotel East, on Nov 3 after a RM125 million renovation.
In a statement today, the company said the hotel, which was closed on April 1 this year, will progressively open its guestrooms and targets to operate its full inventory of 564 rooms by end-January 2017.
The renovation increased the hotel’s room inventory to 564 deluxe rooms and suites from 549 previously, incorporating 21 new family rooms and suites, designed to accommodate a growing increase in family and leisure travellers to the integrated destination, it said.
Chief Executive Officer and Group General Manager, Albert Cheong, said the reopening of Sunway Pyramid Hotel would add to the spectacular facilities and vibrancy of Sunway City Kuala Lumpur.
“With the full room inventory available by end-January 2017, the cluster of three hotels in Sunway City including the new Sunway Pyramid Hotel, will offer guests a choice of over 1,400 guestrooms and suites within a single integrated destination, thereby affording guests with every conceivable choice and budget,” he said.
