Keeping to his promise, Solidariti Anak Muda Malaysia (SAMM) leader Badrul Hisham Shaharin will submit the Paya Indah Wetland scandal documents to Malaysian Anti-Corruption Agency (MACC).

Badrul fondly known as ‘Chegu Bard’ told reporters that his Paya Indah Wetland scandal investigation team have compiled all the relevant documents which later will be handed over to the MACC officials at Putrajaya on Friday afternoon.

“Our team will publish a booklet containing all the information pertaining to the Lot 68054 –Paya Indah Wetland case.

“We will reveal on that day the proxy behind Menteri Besar Selangor Azmin Ali in lieu to the land scandal.

“Our team will also circulate the booklets to state government officials and PKR party leadership to better gauge on the land matter issue,” he said.

Last week, Chegu Bard vowed to take up the matter via proper legal channel after compiling the information related to the land transaction and proxies.

In his first revelation, Chegu Bard claimed that Lot 68054 an area conserved under the Ramsar convention was changed to development status during Azmin’s administration.

Even Azmin defended that anyone dissatisfied with the Selangor government’s explanation on the Paya Indah Wetlands issue and has proof of alleged land rezoning, should bring it to the relevant authority.

State Exco for tourism, environment, green technology and consumer affairs Elizabeth recently told the media that that there has been no application to change the use of Lot 4827 and 3974.

A memorandum of understanding was inked between the Federal and Selangor governments on the management and administration of the preservation of Paya Indah Wetlands on 2007.

She further added that the Lot 68504 referred by Chegu Bard was private land out of Paya Indah Wetlands.
