Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski has signed a contract extension committing him to the Bundesliga champions until 2021, the club have announced.

Lewandowski, 28, joined on a free transfer from Bayern’s bitter rivals Borussia Dortmund in 2014, and has since added two more German league titles to the pair he won at the Westfalenstadion.

The Poland international said in a post on his official Twitter account: “This club gives me all i need to make my dreams come true! New challenges ahead of us! MiaSanMia!”
