Parkroyal Penang has kick-started a RM50 million refurbishment project to give a major facelift to the resort in Batu Ferringhi.

Under the refresh exercise, the resort will transform all its 263 rooms and 46 suites as well as the lobby and dining outlets.

The resort will be fully operational with minimal impact to guests as the refurbishment will be carried out one wing at a time across the three accommodation wings.

The guestrooms will be fitted out with soft furnishings, modern bathroom amenities and stylish lighting.

The enhancement of the lobby will heightened the idyllic close to nature ambience for the resort.

Parkroyal general manager Francois Sigrist said that the transformation is part of the resort commitment to provide modern comfort to their guests and making their stay more memorable.

“We look forward to welcoming our guests to experience our rejuvenated resort when they visit Penang on vacation or corporate events. We constantly stay ahead of competition by meeting guest demands for new experiences, while our friendly Parkroyal people are always on hand to ensure their stay was an unforgettable one,” he said.

Guests can also look forward to an enhanced Internet surfing experience with the upgrading of the resort’s Wifi system.
