A total of 12 new cases of Zika were confirmed in Singapore over the weekend, according to the latest figures on the National Environment Agency’s (NEA) website.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases to 381, up from 369 reported on Friday.
NEA added that no new cases were reported on yesterday Sep 19.
According to the information on its website, a new cluster emerged in Hougang Ave 7, with two cases reported at Block 325 over the weekend.
Of the other new cases, three are from the main Aljunied/Sims Drive cluster, bringing the total number of cases in the country’s largest cluster to 286.
Two new cases were confirmed in the Elite Terrace cluster, bringing the total number of cases there to 13.
As of Monday, it is Singapore’s second-largest cluster.
