Red Shirts leader Jamal Yunos has called Bersih as an illegal movement that falsely championing for the people.
Speaking to reporters late evening at Premiera Hotel, Jamal labeled Bersih as “illegal and filthy” movement.
“Our Red shirts movement is legally registered and Bersih is not registered.
“We deserve to get protection from the enforcement authorities mainly the police,” said Jamal.
Jamal also vowed that his movement will obey the law and respect the directives set by the police.
Meanwhile, Red shirts legal advisor Mohd Imran Tamrin said the movement respects the decision made earlier by Kuala Lumpur High Court to dismiss the eleventh hour injunction application by three traders within the city.
Imran also emphasised based on the court’s trial, the plaintiff did raise the point Bersih was not registered accordingly to the law.
He also promised the Red Shirt movement will obey the orders set by the district police chief.
When asked the gathering points of the Red Shirt, Jamal said “ Where ever there is yellow shirt, the red shirt will be there”.
