The 11 people arrested over a brawl on Parliament grounds, including the son of a deputy minister, have been released.
KL City police chief Comm Amar Singh said those arrested were released on police bail on Saturday reported The Star.
Amar said they were held overnight and released on police bail.
However, the police are still investigating the case, which is classified under Section 147 of the Penal Code for rioting.
It is believed that the group was not happy when Khalid had called Pasir Salak MP Tajuddin Abdul Rahman, “menteri sial”.
The shouting match erupted in parliament when Tajuddin referred Seputeh MP Teresa Kok as “the only woman with a ‘Kok’.”
