Three Indonesian nationals were killed in a shootout with police in Mambau, near Seremban this morning.
NST reported that the trio were suspected to be involved in several serious crimes cases in Negri Sembilan and other states.
In the 5am incident, the three men came face-to-face with a joint team from Bukit Aman Special Task Force on Organised Crime (STAFFOC) and Negri Sembilan Serious Crimes Division (D9) at an area in Mambau.
They refused to surrender and tried to escape by opening fire at the police.
The police fired back and a shootout ensued.
All three died on the spot.
