Prime Minister Najib Razak today launched the 1Malaysia Housing Project Corporation Malaysia (PR1MA) mobile application, named ‘PR1MA app’ that contains various information about the PR1MA project.
The application was launched today in a simple ceremony held at the PR1MA’s exhibition booth at the foyer of the Putra World Trade Center (PWTC) which was also attended by Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Shahidan Kassim and PR1MA chairman Alies Anor Abdul.
PR1MA chief executive officer Abdul Mutalib Alias said the application which was in line with the current digital era provided an efficient two-way access between the corporation and the people.
“This application is aimed at facilitating the application process and giving easy access to potential buyers by providing notifications about PR1MA,” Bernama reported as he saying after the ceremony.
According to him, the application, which could be downloaded for free via the Google Play and Apple Store, allowed users to register, apply to buy PR1MA houses as well as check their application status.
Meanwhile, Abdul Mutalib said as of last month, more than 1.34 million applications had been received for PR1MA houses.
He said that to date, over 268,993 housing units were approved for construction, of which, 111,267 units are in various stages of construction.
