Petrol prices up for first week of July

KUALA LUMPUR: The retail prices of  RON95 and RON97 petrol will be increased by four sen a litre, to RM1.93/litre and RM2.19/litre respectively effective 12.01am tomorow until midnight on July 12.

The retail price of diesel will also go up by seven sen a litre to RM1.91/litre.

The new retail prices of the three fuels were posted on the Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry’s website today.

Retail prices of the three fuels are set weekly. Before April 1, the prices were set monthly under the managed float system.

Last week RON95 cost RM1.89/litre, RON97 (RM2.15/litre) and diesel (RM1.84/litre). – Bernama
