Suara Malaysia advisor Zamil Ibrahim has asked Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) on the investigation status update of Syarikat Pengeluar Air Sungai Selangor (Splash) water issue deal.

On 15 Nov, three non-governmental organisation (NGOs) have taken the Splash water issue deal to Selangor MACC.

The three NGOs are Suara, Batas Malaysia and Gapenas.

They have asked MACC to call upon Selangor Menteri Besar Azmin Ali, former Menteri Besar Khalid Ibrahim and Splash management to further investigate on the dubious water deal.

According to Zamil, former MB Khalid Ibrahim is ready to give statement to MACC.

He added it has been almost 10 days since the official complaint lodged to MACC and they hope will be expedited soon.
