Hew Kuan Yau, formerly from DAP, has made a controversial posting again on his Facebook page.
This time he has uploaded the movie poster of ‘Beauty and the Beast’ with an attachment of a photograph of Prime Minister Najib Razak and his wife Rosmah Mansor with abusive words.
The latest controversial posting by Hew, who is known as ‘Superman’ among DAP supporters, has irked MyPPP national youth wing chief S. Sathiah.
Sathiah has demanded an immediate apology from Hew, a political character infamous for his frequent derogatory remarks.
“Hew’s action by uploading the poster ‘Beauty and The Beast’ and images of PM and his wife with an abusive slogan is an act of disrespect and offensive.
“Hew should learn how to respect the prime minister and his wife,” said Sathiah.
The MyPPP leader pointed out that Hew’s action could cause unrest to certain quarters and this could lead towards any untoward incident.
“We in MyPPP warn him not go overboard and do not play with fire,” he said, adding that his party would lodge reports to the police and the Multimedia and Communication Commission on Hew.
“We want the authorities to take strong action on Hew”.
Sathiah said these derogatory remarks by current and former leaders and members of DAP reflected their low mentality.
“Do Malaysians want these types of people to be their leaders for current and future generations?” he asked.
A check by Malaysia Outlook found that Hew uploaded the posting on his Facebook page on March 13 at 6.17 pm and the posting was still there at press time.
Hew is no stranger to controversies and derogatory remarks.
Back in May 2016, he created headlines over his “screw the Malays” remark during the Sarawak state election.
A video footage of his racial remark went viral and causing an uproar among the Malay community.
He subsequently announced that he had resigned from DAP.
