MIC Youth has demanded Kapar MP G. Manivannan to state PKR’s stand on Hudud rather than accusing them for not pushing hard to stop tabling of private member’s bill to amend the Syariah law in parliament.

In a press statement, Youth leader C.Sivarraajh said MIC has been in the fore front opposing hudud from day one and everybody knows this except the Kapar MP.

“PKR and DAP have been running with PAS over ten years.

“They have been apologising for PAS excesses at every turn, including on hudud and all this while too.

“They are the ones with an ambiguous position on hudud, not the MIC,” said Sivarraajh.

He also demands Manivannan to state his party’s stand or retract his acquisition again the MIC within the next 24 hours.

However, reported in Berita Daily on Nov 25, Manivannan said MIC is irresponsible and not serious in representing the Indian community as there were no Indian representatives from the cabinet.

Manivannan highlighted that MIC president S.Subramaniam and deputy president SK Devamany were not present during the tabling of the private bill by PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang.

The Kapar MP has also warned MIC leadership not use its youth to respond to his claims, adding that Subramaniam or Devamany themselves should have the guts to reply him personally.
