MCA must be bold enough to speak up against the DAP and break out of the opposition party’s narrative of criticising Umno’s allegedly racist remarks said Umno Youth vice-chief Khairul Azwan Harun.
Khairul via a press statement said it is not appropriate for MCA president Liow Tiong Lai to overreact and point fingers at Barisan Nasional leaders if his own party leaders were afraid to face-off with the DAP.
Liow should not have said that MCA’s failure to secure Chinese votes during the elections is a BN problem when MCA itself is afraid to rival DAP highlights Khairul.
“He (Liow) should not have said that MCA’s failure to secure Chinese votes during the elections is a BN problem when MCA itself is afraid to rival DAP,” he said.
“It clearly evident under BN rule, Chinese school is protected.
“Don’t only request the sweet matters, even the risk issues should be raised and protected.” said Khairul.
Khairul believes even the MCA members want its party president to be vocal against DAP and show some fighting spirit portrayed by Prime Minister Najib Razak.
He urged MCA president to come out from the cocoon narrated by DAP party rather than being bullied.
