A body of a man believed to be in his 30s, was found murdered in an alley along Jalan Sanggul 1F, Bandar Puteri, Klang yesterday.
Speaking to reporters today at his office, South Klang OCPD Asst Comm Alzafni Ahmad said, the man clad in a blue checkered shirt and a pair of black jeans was found by a passerby and alerted the police at 8.15am yesterday.
“We believe the victim was a local based on the inoculation (BCG) mark on his arm.
“Our initial investigation showed that the victim was killed not more than 24 hours based on his multiple fresh injuries caused by both blunt and sharp objects, was murdered elsewhere and dumped here.” He added.
No identification papers were on the man and the case had been classified under section 302 of the Penal Code for murder. ACP Alzafni said.
The body has been sent to Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital for an autopsy.
