Prime Minister Najib Razak fired the newly formed opposition pact between Pribumi chairman Mahathir Mohamad and DAP supremo Lim Kit Siang.
Najib questioned the sincerity and the real agenda between the former arch rivals turning into new political friends to lead the Opposition.
“You think Lim really likes Mahathir? You think Mahathir really likes Lim?
“Mahathir once openly said that Lim is a racist, anti-Malay and anti-Islam.
“Lim has accused Mahathir of being a dictator, practising cronyism and much more.
“This is the politics of hypocrisy. How can we believe in a political pact based on hypocrisy?” Najib told this when officiating the MCA annual general assembly in Kuala Lumpur today.
He said the people cannot afford to put their future by relying on a political pact that does not portray sincerity elements.
Najib also vowed Barisan Nasional would continue to work hard for all Malaysians.
Yesterday, social activist Tunku Aziz also questioned the agenda behind Kit Siang and Mahathir partnership.
He accused Kit Siang to have got into bed with ‘father of grand corruption’.
