Investigation papers on the Malaysian Indian Sports Council-Malaysian Indian Football Association (MISC-Mifa) graft case are expected to be submitted to the deputy public prosecutor next week for consideration of any charge.

The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) deputy chief commissioner (operations) Azam Baki told newsmen in Johor Bahru that the agency aimed to wrap up the investigations soon.

He said MACC hoped to make a decision on the case in a week or two.

The arrests of four MISC-MIFA football players and a bookie for alleged match-fixing, following an investigation by the MACC, rocked the M-League early this month.
