All mothers are protective towards their child, what more if you are an ex-movie star and your child is being verbally abused on the social media.

Khusboo, 45, a popularly known former southern India film actress and television hostess-turned-politician, recently took a swipe on two social media users for allegedly abusing her daughter on Instagram.

Kushboo, who is married to actor and director Sundar C, is blessed with two daughters Avanthika and Ananditha, after whom the couple named their production house.

Her youngest teenager, Ananditha, who is on Instagram under the account name ‘ani_sundar’, is a lively, bubbly and plus size teen.

The 13-year old had recently posted a wefie of hers with the popular singer-turned-actor Shruthi Hassan on her Instagram account with the caption “you do my hair, I do your nails” on the picture.

However, there were two Instragrammers under the account name ‘syedali1020’ and ‘arunraja1954’ had commented on the picture “Ayyo elephant” and “Ohhhh correct”, believed to have been referring to Ananditha’s plus size personality.

Furious mother Khusboo has returned a favour by tagging the duo who insulted her daughter and said “and you two the ugliest street dogs”.

Well, as a protective mother what Khusboo did was not wrong and many Instagrammers supported her response towards the abusive keyboard warriors.

Instagrammer ‘chaitthanya’ told Khusboo that she had “earned two pretty angels”, putting aside social expectation of beauty standards.

Both Avanthika and Ananditha may not be as sleek, slim and make-up savvy as former Indian film star Sri Devi’s two daughters – Jhanvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor, but you never know when the duckling may turn into a swan one day.
