Why is it that DAP advisor Lim Kit Siang only dares to hit on pro-government media with regards to a claim made by Tunku Abdul Aziz Tunku Ibrahim, questioned Penang Umno Youth chief Rafizal Abdul Rahim.

In asking this, Rafizal pointed out that the media was only acting as a messenger carrying the statement made by the former DAP national vice-chairman, according to Umno Online.

The state Youth chief was referring to a claim made by Tunku Abdul Aziz recently that on Dec 3, 2016, a secret meeting took place between Kit Siang and former premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad in which both had agreed that should Pakatan Harapan capture Putrajaya in the next general election (GE14), Mukhriz Mahathir would become Prime Minister and Kit Siang his deputy.

“It is really dramatic for Kit Siang to sue selected media as what they (DAP) claim as pro-government … why don’t they sue online news portal Malaysiakini too which also carried the same news?” questioned Rafizal.

On the same note, Rafizal described Kit Siang’s reasoning on why he would not be suing Tunku Abdul Aziz as ‘shallow’ and ‘cowardly’.

Malay Mail Online last week reported that when asked if he would also sue Tunku Abdul Aziz who made the claim, Kit Siang said: “I have no interest in wasting my time on the person who said it as he had lost all respect, honour and credibility as to deserve any attention.”

“Kit Siang should sue Tunku Abdul Aziz or is he actually afraid that the truth will come out in court if he sues Tunku Abdul Aziz?” Rafizal was quoted as saying by Umno Online.

Rafizal also claimed that Kit Siang dare not touch Tunku Abdul Aziz therefore the action of suing the media was a move to stop them from carrying anymore statements issued by the former DAP national vice chairman.

Following that, Rafizal challenged Kit Siang to either sue Tunku Abdul Aziz or make a statutory declaration (SD) to prove his innocence.

He claimed further that DAP has got no guts to take action on Tunku Abdul Aziz even though there might be more exposure by him.
