Milind Soman’s mission is to promote the joy of running.

A self-confessed fitness freak, Soman is Pinkathon’s ambassador.

An avid sportsman from young, Soman was a former national swimmer before making it big as a supermodel.

Soman show the world that 50 is the new sexy as he pushes the limits in his relentless pursuit of endurance sport.

In 2015, Soman completed his first Ironman challenge in 15 hours and 19 minutes.

The triathlon includes a 3.8-km swim, a 180.2-km cycle ride and 42.2-km run race to be completed within 17 hours to win the title ‘Ironman’.

If you think that is tough, Soman went on to complete the Florida Ultraman 2017 which covered a distance of 517 kilometres.

The coveted title of ‘Ultraman’ is an honour bestowed on the survivors of the toughest marathon in the world.

Ultraman Florida is an endurance challenge for the multi-sport race with three stages spread across three days under severe conditions.

A breakdown of the three day race of endurance will leave most of us feeling faint.

The 36 hours is the cut off time for all the three days.

He completed day three and ran 84-kilometer barefoot!
