Jaringan Melayu Malaysia football club (JMM FC) felt disappointed with Kuala Lumpur Football Association (KLFA) after the club’s entry to play FAM League 2017 was turned down.
The club’s honorary advisor Azwanddin Hamzah said JMM FC was interested in playing in the league as they have emerged winner in the KLFA Super League for this year.
“We have fulfilled all the criteria to enter the FAM league, however, KLFA turns us down.
“We are not sure whether KLFA only allows certain clubs close with them to take part in the league.” said Azwanddin in a press statement.
He added that KLFA should maintain a professional approach to allow new clubs to take part in the league as it will help to spur the football development in the country.
Azwanddin also urged the KLFA to be a more efficient state football body in managing professionally as they have failed to receive any positive reply from them in lieu to their application.
He pointed out that JMM FC will await for response from KLFA till Dec 20 on the explanation for turning down their application to participate in the league.
