Red Shirts leader Jamal Yunos will be called up for questioning over his “Darah dibalas Darah” statement, said Inspector-General of Police Khalid Abu Bakar.
Khalid said that Jamal’s statement could be deemed as seditious.
“We will investigate the matter without fear or favour.
“He will be called up for questioning, ” The Star Online reported as the IGP saying today.
On Sunday, Jamal was punched in the face during a scuffle between the police and his group of Red Shirts at Ampang Point.
He then said in a Facebook post “Darah pasti diganti dengan DARAH. (Blood will be paid with blood)” a few hours after the scuffle.
The posting was accompanied by screen capture of a news article showing Jamal sporting a nosebleed.
