Red Shirts Leader Jamal Yunos urged Ampang PKR division youth chief Adam Rosly to come clean and explain his source of income until he can purchase a luxury bungalow in the urban area.
Jamal was referring to the two-and-a-half storey ‘Disneyland’ style castle, located in the middle of Ampang urban housing area which Adam, 28, purchased lately.
Speaking to reporters outside the luxury bungalow today, Jamal questioned Adam on his capability of owning such a property as he was a ‘nobody’ before venturing into politics.
“I am not accusing him of anything but he should tell us how he obtain such a luxury within a short period of time,” Jamal said.
Jamal also pointed out that the house was without water and electricity meters.
A resident who lives close by said the building was an abandoned project and was recently renovated before Adam moved in with his family in September.
Meanwhile, Ampang Umno division chief Ismail Kijo lodged a report with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) and urged to investigate Adam over his alleged wealth.
Ismail lodged the report at the MACC headquarters in Putrajaya at about 4pm today.
Ismail said besides MACC, the division had also lodged a police report on Sunday and added that a report would also be lodged with the Inland Revenue Board to ask it to investigate the matter.
Adam, who is also the aide for Ampang MP Zuraida Kamaruddin, said he purchased the property on an auction bid for RM one million.
