KUALA LUMPUR: The highly-anticipated Harry Potter and The Philosopher’s Stone in Concert has been postponed.

It was scheduled to run today and tomorrow at the plenary hall, KL Convention Centre.

New dates are expected to be announced on July 25.

The concert was billed as one that would have a symphony orchestra that performed music to the entire film, which would be projected on a 40-foot screen in high definition.

“We are committed to delivering the best quality performance and entertainment experience for the audience, and deeply regret the inconveniences caused by this postponement,” said event organiser Creon Asia in a Facebook posting.

The statement also said that ticket holders who want to have their tickets refunded can do so by calling TicketPro 03-7880 7999 (Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 6pm and Saturday from 9.30am to 1pm) or email [email protected][email protected]

Some of those who planned to attend the concert suitably voiced their disappointment in the comment section of the posting with some saying that they were coming from other states outside the Klang Valley while others questioned the last minute announcement for the postponement.
