DAP Youth leader Dyana Sofya Mohd Daud has been taken to task for claiming that “Malays want to be free of Umno, which claims to represent them but instead cheats them.”
A Facebook user Raja Sara Petra questioned on whether Dyana Sofya can qualify her statement with correct facts and figures.
Or perhaps, suggested Sara, “Dyana Sofya was merely spinning for political mileage.”
“This is a very serious allegation indeed.
“Is her opinion based on well researched statistics or a mere spin?
“Anyone can make such a claim when he or she does not need to prove it,” chided Sara in her Facebook posting.
Sara, the daughter of Malaysia Today editor Raja Petra Kamarudin, demanded Dyana Sofya to explain and elaborate on how and what way “Umno had cheated the Malays.”
“You cannot accuse someone of cheating without offering details and evidence.
“This would be like saying DAP is anti-Malay and then leaving the rest unsaid and to your imagination.”
