Ex-IGP Musa Hassan lodges police report against RPK

Former IGP Musa Hassan has lodged a police report against Malaysia today blogger Raja Petra Kamaruddin (RPK).

Musa lodged the report at Petaling Jaya police district headquarters today around 8.00 pm.

In his report, Musa did mention on the four articles published in Malaysia Today portal alleging his links with underworld gang and making slanderous remarks on the former top cop.

Even in the article posted by RPK he called Musa as ‘running dog’ for former premier Mahathir Mohamed and alleged to have fixed both the Sodomy I and II case against PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim.

Speaking to reporters after lodging the report, Musa said although earlier he has given a 14 day notice to apologise and retract the allegations made against him, stressed that RPK may not apologise or even retract his articles.

“The articles published have been tarnishing my image and credibility.

“Although time frame given to him, looks like he will not apologise and that made me to lodge a police report.” Musa said.

He also pointed out that Musa will take a legal action against RPK, Raggie Jessy and Malaysia Today portal.

Raggie Jessy and Malaysia Today were also named in the police report.

Yesterday after Musa’s press conference a writer by the name Raggie Jessy posted an article ‘Former IGP Musa Hassan should be investigated for links with the underworld’ in Malaysia Today.

Then subsequent article was posted by RPK titled ‘Musa Hassan, The evidence is stacked against you’.

RPK on Dec 12 published an article that ‘Gani Patail and Musa Hassan going to be crucified tomorrow’.

Then another article was posted on Dec 15, ‘How Mukhriz is going to become PM’ further tarnishing his image.

He added that the police report based on the law provision of Section 500 of Penal Code and Section 233 of Communication and Multimedia 2008 Act.
