Former second Finance Minister Ahmad Husni Hanadzlah has been called in for questioning by the police.
An aide confirmed that Ahmad Husni would be going to the federal police headquarters in Bukit Aman today at 2.30pm to give his statement.
It is believed that Ahmad Husni has been summoned over his speech in Parliament on Monday, where he raised the issue of 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB), reported by Star Online as the aide saying.
Ahmad Husni resigned as second finance minister in June this year. He also resigned from all of his party posts – as Umno and Barisan Nasional treasurer as well as Tambun division chief and several other positions in Perak Umno.
