Bersih crackdown continues with the latest arrest of DAP leader Ronnie Liu in front of Bukit Aman Police Headquarters today around 6.11pm.

Segambut MP Lim Lip Eng tweeted that the former Pandamaran MP was arrested by officers from City police headquarters for attempting to riot tomorrow.

Kuala Lumpur Police chief Amar Singh confirmed the arrest but declined to elaborate.

DAP leader Ronnie Liu is the latest person to be hauled up by police a day before Bersih 5 rally.

Earlier, Yellow Shirts leader Maria Chin Abdullah and its secretariat officer Mandeep Singh were arrested from Bersih office and taken to the Petaling Jaya police district headquarters for further questioning.

DAP’s Seremban MP Anthony Loke was also arrested by officers from Bukit Aman to be questioned over a speech he made during Pakatan Harapan’s convention last Saturday.

A total number of four people have been arrested by police in this Bersih’s crackdown by police to maintain law and order.
