A group of foreigners were arrested for public indecency at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC) for wearing underwear bearing Malaysian flag design.

It was reported in The Star that Sepang OCPD Asst Comm Abdul Aziz Ali revealed that the nine Australians, aged between 25 and 29, were under the influence of alcohol when they disrobed and revealed their briefs to spectators at the Formula 1 Petronas Grand Prix on Sunday.

The group was detained at 5pm on the same day shortly after the incident and remanded for four days to facilitate investigations.

The case is being investigated for provocation and public indecency.
