Are you big on sun, sea and surf? Or perhaps you are a big fan of Hawaii Five-0 and have always wanted to see the hometown of Commander Steve McGarrett?

With promotional fares starting at RM499, you are now one step closer to realising that dream as AirAsia X is set to operate its service from Kuala Lumpur to Honolulu, Hawaii via Osaka, Japan beginning June 28.

In a statement today, AirAsia X Group CEO Kamarudin Meranun said flying to Honolulu was a much-awaited game-changing destination.

“By connecting Asean and North Asia to the US with our world-class low fares offering, we will make it possible for those who could only dream of a vacation across the pacific to take that trip.

“We wish to thank all relevant authorities and governments for their support. Their vote of confidence made today’s unique route launch possible and we will continue to work closely with all parties to ensure we can connect more people through this flagship intercontinental route,” Kamaruddin said.
