SHAH ALAM: Police arrested another three more youths last night to facilitate their probe into Sunday’s unrest at the Nothing To Hide 2.0 event.

This follows the arrest of three others at the Dewan Raja Muda Musa in Section 7, here where the event was held on Sunday evening.

Among those arrested yesterday was a 19-year-old performance arts college student, who was picked up at his family’s house in Setapak about 7.30pm.

Acording to the New Straits Times, the teenager’s mother said three policemen came to their house and identified themselves as cops before taking him away.

The English daily reported her saying they did not know that her son had gone to the event, which featured Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

She also claimed that her son could have been used by certain parties, who manipulated college students into going to the event.

Shah Alam district police chief Assistant Commissioner Shafien Mamat confirmed the arrests and said he would be releasing a press statement on Tuesday.
