A major reshuffle is expected at Bukit Aman, according to Deputy Inspector-General of Police Noor Rashid Ibrahim.
The Star Online reported that the reshuffle was due to the arrests of several police officers which included senior officers following investigations into drug syndicates.
Noor Rashid told reporters in Perak today that the officers detained were discovered to have given the syndicates information pertaining to police operations.
It was previously reported that 16 officers were arrested under the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act 2012.
Noor Rashid also warned that any police officer found to be colluding with crime syndicates would be dealt with.
