The Royale Chulan and Bintang Hotels and Resorts’ annual charity project – ‘Candle of Hope’ – kicks off with a two-month long campaign to raise funds for charitable homes or welfare organisations.

The Royale Bintang Hotel Penang kicked off the Candle of Hope for the third time in 2016 and successfully raised RM5, 000 for House of Hope as the project’s beneficiary.

Guests and patrons of the hotel purchased the candle of hope tags and wrote their Christmas messages on it before hanging the tags on the Christmas trees located in the hotel.

Many generous contributions were received from guests and the hotel’s staff.

The hotel hopes to contribute towards providing the much-needed physical aids for the underprivileged families through the House Of Hope.

The general manager of The Royale Bintang Penang, Philip D. Theseira said that the hotel’s contribution would be able to help make a difference in helping the House of Hope.

“We hope to continue our contribution towards those in need and lend our support for a brighter future for the new generation,” he said during a cheque presentation ceremony at the hotel in Weld Quay, George Town recently.
