The government is clearly concerned on the housing needs for younger generation by providing incentives that will assist them to own a house.
President and Chief Executive of Johor Corp (JCorp), Kamaruzzaman Abu Kasim said that it is interesting to note that Budget 2017 provides better incentives that will assist younger generations.
The increase in the number of various types of houses would ease peoples’ burden to own home, said Kamaruzzaman.
JCorp via its subsidiary, Johor Land Bhd, would continue to build affordable houses for the welfare and comfort of the people, he said.
“It is hoped that the implementation of house ownership scheme will be improved and implemented quickly.
Under the Budget 2017, 30,000 affordable houses will be built in strategic locations in addition to 5,000 units of people-friendly homes and 10,000 units of houses in towns for rent to the young people.
The new programme, ‘My Beautiful New Home’, would also enable the young generation to own first home.
